Two years after her arrest by Chinese authorities, Chinese “Feminist Five” activist Li Maizi (aka Li Tingting) comes to London for the first time to share her experience of Chinese feminist activism and discuss the current state and future of feminism in mainland China with experts, as well as its relationship with history, gender politics, ethnicity, social media and art.
Li Maizi is one of the most important figures in the global feminist and LGBTQIA+ network. It is a rare opportunity to listen to a conversation with a leading Chinese activist in the UK.
